University of Macerata (UniMC) – Visiting Professorship Call 2026/2027

The call is open to full professors, associate professors, and researchers (or equivalent positions) who are currently employed at a foreign university or higher education institution and are not resident in Italy. All eligibility requirements must be met by the application deadline.

Selected candidates may apply for one of the following Visiting Professorship options for the 2026/2027 academic year:

Type A: 12 consecutive weeks

Type B: 8 consecutive weeks

The visit must take place during one of the two semesters between 1 September 2026 and 15 July 2027. A mobility grant of €7,000 (Type A) or €5,000 (Type B) will be provided as a lump sum to cover mobility-related expenses.

Visiting Professors will hold official Visiting Professor status for the full duration of their stay and will be expected to:

·         Conduct research activities

·         Deliver at least 15 hours of teaching
