University of Ghana at “Universities at a Crossroad” Webinar

Professor Nana Amfo, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Program Committee Member of the Glion Colloquium Association, and Administrative Board Member of the International Association of Universities, will represent the IAU as a speaker at the webinar: “Universities at a Crossroad: Strengthening Partnerships in Science for Societal Well-Being.”

Co-hosted by The Pew Charitable Trusts and the Glion Colloquium Association, this dialogue will bring together university leaders and funding experts to explore how universities and their research partners can strengthen collaborations to tackle pressing global challenges. At a time of declining public trust in science and higher education, cross-institutional, cross-border, and cross-sector partnerships are crucial to maximizing the impact of research.

Join Professor Nana Amfo and fellow university presidents from the Glion Colloquium’s program committee, along with leading research funders, as they discuss strategies to foster evidence-based solutions, reinforce partnerships, and position research as a catalyst for positive global change.
