Reinforced Partnership between the IAU and EAIE

The IAU is pleased to have recently signed two Memorandums of Understanding with the European Association of International Education (EAIE).

Reciprocal Membership

EAIE has officially become an affiliate Member of the IAU in March 2026. This new Membership status transitions collaboartive work with the EAIE from event or project-specific partnerships to a long-term cooperation. In addition, IAU Secretary General Hilligje van’t Land and IAU Manager for Internationalization Giorgio Marinoni have become individual members of the EAIE.

IAU-EAIE Internationalization Leadership Dialogue 2026

The second edition of the IAU-EAIE Internationalization Leadership Dialogue has been set for 8 September 2026, immediately prior to the EAIE Glasgow 2026 Conference. The IAU looks forward to working with EAIE and convening another meaningful convesation on the topic “Leading internationalisation in turbulent times.” More information, such as programme details, registration, and participation fees, will be made available shortly.
