The Magna Charta Observatory is pleased to announce that the 2026 Student Essay Competition is now officially open.

‍This year’s theme is:‍ How have the humanities influenced your entry to and/or your experience of higher education?

‍Students from universities around the world are invited to reflect on how the humanities shape access to higher education, belonging, academic development, and personal growth.
