“Future is Erasmus”: A Higher Education Stakeholder Dialogue

On January 27, 2026, the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) invites you to participate in the Future is Erasmus Conference in Brussels, organised with the support of the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA) and aimed at allowing the Higher Education community to share perspectives and discuss the future of Erasmus+.

Where? Fondation Universitaire, Rue d’Egmont 11, 1000 Brussels, Belgium
When? 27 January 2026, 14:00 - 18:30 CET (followed by a cocktail reception)

In the context of the ongoing discussions on the future of the Erasmus+ programme, the conference aims to draw political and stakeholder attention to the importance of Erasmus+, with a particular focus on higher education. The event will bring together students, alumni, higher education institutions, European University Alliances, National Agencies, policymakers, and other key representatives to reflect on current developments, challenges, and priorities shaping the next generation of the programme.

Through a participatory and interactive format, the conference intends to provide space for discussion on key policy questions, including governance, mobility formats, strategic priorities, and international cooperation. The programme includes panel discussions with representatives from stakeholder organisations and EU institutions, as well as opportunities for exchange with the wider sector.
