Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic is causing a huge disruption on the way human beings are living and interacting all over the world. The present article is a collection of thoughts on the possible consequences of the pandemic on society and higher education in particular. It is a reflection on the role of higher education in the current context and its potential to shape future society
