Future of Higher Education – Bologna Process Researchers' Conference (FOHE-BPRC6): Registration is now open!
Registration for the sixth edition of the Future of Higher Education – Bologna Process Researchers' Conference (FOHE-BPRC6), to be held on 16–17 September 2026 in Bucharest, Romania is now open to all those interested to join the latest debates on the European Higher Education.
The Conference is expected to gather more than 150 policy-makers, researchers, and higher education professionals from Europe and beyond, and will include high-level policy discussions, presentations of academic papers to be published in an open-access Springer volume. The event is organized by the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI), in partnership with the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research.
The conference is structured around two intertwined thematic tracks: the first day is dedicated to the "Researchers' Voice" section, which maintains the format of an international academic conference, featuring high-quality peer-reviewed research, while the second day is centered on "EduGlobal", a forward-looking segment bringing together European and global decision-makers and organizations to directly address the challenges identified by researchers.
This year, FOHE-BPRC is organized in conjunction with "The Future of Higher Education: Sharing Knowledge and Supporting Implementation for a Stronger Bologna Process", a policy-oriented conference organized by the EHEA Secretariat and dedicated to fostering structured dialogue, peer learning and evidence-informed reflection on the implementation of the Bologna Process tools and commitments and the future of higher education within and beyond the EHEA. Participants in FOHE-BPRC6 will also have the opportunity to follow selected sessions of this parallel event.
Participation in FOHE-BPRC6 is entirely free of charge. Interested participants are invited to register on the official conference website.
