The International Association of Universities (IAU) is pleased to present its second Global Survey Report on Digital Transformation, offering a global perspective on how higher education institutions are navigating an evolving digital landscape.
Drawing on responses from 430 higher education institutions across 125 countries and territories, the report explores how technological developments are contributing to broader transformations in higher education, with particular attention to artificial intelligence (AI) and Open Science.
Bringing together global trends and regional perspectives, the report highlights the diverse contexts, opportunities and challenges shaping digital transformation worldwide. Across three key areas – Teaching and Learning, Research, and Governance – it examines how institutions are responding to change, adapting their practices and addressing the implications for their priorities and missions.
