The focus of this session is to revisit the values fostered by the IAU and critically reflect on what they might mean in the 21st century, how higher education features as a common good, and whether it really fosters progress, fairness, diversity and inclusion. How do the values and the mission of the university fare in the face of current challenges, and how can universities safeguard their integrity over time while imparting change? In short, the discussion will centre around how universities react, adapt and actively shape values-based transformation for better and more sustainable societies.
The book and launch event benefit from support from SNSPA, Romania.
