Makerere University, in partnership with Mastercard Foundation, is implementing Africa Climate Collaborative. The initiative aims to shape a future where African knowledge, innovation, and leadership drive sustainable, climate-resilient development across the continent.
Makerere University is pleased to announce Fifty [50] Masters and Twelve [12] PhD Scholarship opportunities under the Africa Climate Collaborative for the Academic Year 2026/2027.
Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for the Africa Climate Collaborative Scholarship at Makerere University's main campus, an applicant must belong to one of the following categories: Refugee or Internally Displaced Young People, Young Persons with disabilities, International students, Young people Living in a Refugee Host Community, Young people from Minority Tribes and Other Ugandan Youth. 70% of the Scholarships are for female applicants while 30% are for male applicants.
