Call for IAU Members to join the IAU HESD Cluster (SDG 9, 10, 15)
The IAU HESD Cluster is seeking new IAU Member institutions to join its global community and actively contribute to several SDG-focused working groups. The following subcluster groups are currently welcoming new members:
SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
Next online meeting: 8 December 2025SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities
Next online meeting: January 2026 (date tbc)SDG 15 – Life on Land
Next online meeting: Early 2026 (date tbc)
In the coming months, IAU and the respective Cluster Leads will organise online sessions where new members can join, present how their institution is putting the SDGs into action, exchange experiences, and explore opportunities for joint projects. Cluster-wide meetings take place twice per year, with subclusters meeting 2–4 times annually, depending on their focus and ongoing activities.
Cluster membership is open to 1–2 representatives from each IAU Member institution with expertise and motivation to engage in a global network advancing higher education’s contribution to sustainable development. IAU provides coordination, visibility, and technical support to participating institutions.
