ASEFInnoLab7 White Paper Lab - Call for Interest

What role should universities play in ensuring that AI advances the public good?

Under the theme “The Role of Universities in Advancing AI for Good,” the White Paper Lab of ASEFInnoLab7 will bring together academics, researchers, higher education professionals, and experts from Asia and Europe to co-develop forward-looking white papers on how universities can lead towards inclusive, ethical, and socially beneficial AI outcomes.

Through this Call for Interest, 50 participants will be selected to join a collaborative and intercultural process aimed at generating impactful outputs, strengthening professional networks across Asia and Europe, and deepening understanding of the role of universities in AI research, governance, and application.

Selected participants will:

• Gain a deeper understanding of universities’ role in advancing AI for good

• Expand their professional networks across Asia and Europe

• Co-create high-impact white papers contributing to international higher education policy

• Participate in a virtual collaboration phase and attend an in-person conference in the United Kingdom (costs covered)
