Geoffrey Boulton

Geoffrey Boulton is a British geoscientist with a BSc, PhD, and DSc in Geology from the University of Birmingham. His research primarily focuses on glaciology and glacial geology. As a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) and the Royal Society of Edinburgh (FRSE), he has received numerous awards, including the Kirk Bryan Award from the Geological Society of America, the Seligman Crystal from the International Glaciological Society, and the Lyell Medal from the Geological Society. Additionally, he holds honorary degrees from several universities, including Heidelberg, Chalmers (Sweden), Birmingham, and Keele .
