Annual Report 2017

The 2017 Annual Report of the International Association of Universities (IAU) provides a comprehensive overview of their activities during the period from October 2016 to September 2017. Under the leadership of the new President, the report highlights various initiatives and accomplishments. Notably, the 15th General Conference held in Bangkok emphasized the role of higher education in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Additionally, the IAU conducted a survey on Higher Education and Research for Sustainable Development, aiming to inspire universities to integrate sustainability into their strategic plans. Regular work at the IAU Secretariat in Paris, including publications, database management, and coordination of global programs, continues to serve the higher education community worldwide.
