Join the International Association of Universities (IAU) online for an introduction to the Association’s global work on Higher Education for Sustainable Development (HESD), led by Isabel Toman, Senior Programme Officer for Sustainable Development at the IAU. This session will explore how universities around the world collaborate with the IAU to advance sustainable development, highlight examples of IAU initiatives, and discuss opportunities for engagement.

For both sessions, IAU has invited two experts to share insights on HESD in practice and how the IAU helps higher education institutions shape sustainable futures. To be confirmed: Jouhaina Gherib, IAU Vice President and UNESCO Chairholder and Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Manouba, Tunisia, and Katrin Kohl, UNESCO Co-Chairholder at York University, Canada, and SDG 4 Lead in the IAU HESD Cluster.
